I recall an episode a few years ago, when Barnaby's new assistant mentioned the high murder rate in Midsomer, to which he replied, "It has been commented upon." Nice touch.
veritas yet another of my favourite shows and a shame John Nettles is retiring..always liked him.

But nearly everyone in Midsomer must have murdered by now.
Angel They decided not to show it on Scottish ITV. A repeat of Foyles war instead. The other half went berserk.
