Dominic Dee I didn't see it but I'll give the bloke the "benefit of the doubt". I have seen him on a few things recently and he has improved compared to a few years ago. The last time I saw him commentationg on football he did a surprisingly fine job. Was Alex Higgins on the show too? He had a very long fight against cancer, on top of his alcoholism, which is why he is a pale shadow of his former self. They've both had it tough, mainly due to their own choice of lifestyles, but I give them credit for plodding on and trying to turn their lives around.
Paul That awful program is not live. If it were, they would have had to keep Gazza in the studio for a week - to get it right. Compare it to his live World Cup appearances...when nobody even knew what he was saying! Apparently, Gazza had more retakes on the Weakest Link than Zepidy!
robbiex Gazza was funny as usual and looked well. On the other hand Alex Higgins looked to be on his last legs. He looked frail and gaunt and was bearly audible. Mind you he has looked like that for 10 years, but still seems to go on and on.
JK2006 And yet he came across great.
Illy Gazza....'bright and witty' ???

This guy (who could play football) is an alcoholic halfwit; he admits it in his two books.
