giles2008 A great ambassador for the game. Portsmouth played a match in Portugal last night and both sides joined in a minutes applause which according to the Portsmouth News was"magnificently observed" by both sets of supporters.
Marcus A truly great manager, and a wonderful human being who will be sorely missed. R.I.P.
BR Wonderful man. Made life better. RIP Bobby Robson.
Steve Agree with all the points on Sir Bobby.

But the phenomenon that is football came about because of satellite television which made it easy to broadcast the beautiful game to all corners of the globe - live.

robbiex He was also the most successfull England Manager (Apart from Sir Alf). He got England to the semi-final in 1990, and it is generally regarded that the 1990 world cup was the springboard to making football the massive money making global phenonenom that it is today.
