andrew Try and find the original Dutch version of Nerds on DVD. Metropolis be very weird has they now found more footage to the film and is being restored and hopefully released on DVD.
veritas well we know most good stories have all been written so it's a matter of exploiting any old product in any new way Hollywood can-something they do very well

2 films I saw recently come to mind-Eyes Wide Shut with Tom Cruise..I was amazed to watch the original Spanish version on DVD recently and it was actually far superior with exactly the same story line, effects et al-including Penelope Cruize.

And Valkerie-again with Cruise. German TV did a version almost exactly the same about 6 years ago which was every bit as good as the Cruise version.

I'm looking forward to the Nerd movie though
andrew I heard they going to do the Revenge of the Nerds which is World Cinema cult classic.
Angel "Let the right one in" is apparently being remade because the American audiences don't do films with subtitles. Kind of says a lot about American really.
giles2008 Ive heard that they re going to remake the Swedish movie "Let The Right One In". They really shouldnt, this movie is far too good for Hollywood to mangle. They do it to create the next big franchise. Its now games and toys first, then they think of the movie.
