Innocent Accused Hard one to call.

Genuine grief vs addictive publicity.

You could easily make an argument for either.Just glad I've never been put in a terrible position like that, because I really couldn't find it in me to fault the actions of the desperate parents they must be.
veritas While I think the McCann's loss of their daughter must be the most horrendous experience, I also know people don't act in the most rational way after a traumatic event-especially one where a child dies or goes missing.

There isn't really much worse that can happen for a parent. I know my own mother's grief after my brother died 10 years ago was almost unbearable to watch. It goes against the natural order of things.Parents should go before their children.

Even her doctor kept insisting she must not make important life changing decisions which she wanted to do in the year that followed. She wanted to sell up and move away-do all sorts of things that wouldn't have changed her feelings in any way.About 5 years after she had no memory of half the wild ideas she had at the time.

My experience with private investigators-if there is a pot of gold to feed from they will keep a tale going for as long as the cheques roll in.

I reckon the 'Beckham' look-a-like tale is about as far fetched as they come.
