veritas I loved his famous murder trial reporting but oddly in New York he was both loved and loathed.

Some names I heard for him :"George Burns without the twinkle".."Truman Capote without the talent"

He always took the side of the victim in murder trials but gave some fascinating insights into how defense lawyers and prosecutors worked. Brilliant for behind the scenes gossip.
