As predicted the CUTS have started -and today the announcement that the MET POLICE are going to start closing down.

I dont think the public will miss them. In fact apart from driving around very fast with sirens on most people never can see a real policeman.

A radical thought - why not get rid of all PCSOs and use the money to keep Custody Suites run by experienced people ? But hey - that is too obvious.

Looks as if EVERY part of Public Services are now starting to manoeuvre for "Public Sympathy" - this is where the POLICE are going to lose out big time after their "Reign of Terror" in the last 6 years since 9.11 gave them an excuse to act like they were Judge and Jury.

Karma has a funny way of coming round and biting people on the bum. I think this announcement is to be celebrated. Wont make any difference to crime figures because they catch very few genuine criminals.
