Our top Politicians spend alot of time on planes. More than the average person.

The Chancellor job particularly involves much international travel........and GORDON did that job for 10 years.

So perhaps his failing ability is to do with too much time flying over the past few years.

I would like to see the price of Flying doubled so that Green Taxes are taken off other things and put where they should have most effect.

These days video conferencing is easy - and so plan journeys are non essential. The CHUNNEL is superb and quick into Europe as well - and should be used in preference to European flights.

We need to realise that IF we are killing our planet then PLANE travel has to be cut back massively.
