Think the record for defeats in the top level is held by Man Utd. That was in the old First Division. Our new owner is the only Arab businessman with no money, and the previous owner is still hanging around in some form or another. Never mind at least weve got more points than Southampton this season. |

I remember a joke in the mid 1990s - What's the difference between Manchester City and a cocktail stick? A cocktail stick has 2 points. So I guess they had a bad season back then. Not sure how long it was before they got their 1 point. |

I sincerely hope so! No offence to Pompey, but as a Derby fan, I'd like to be rid of our record of the lowest points total, not only in the Premiership, but in the history of English top division football.
I wouldn't worry though. Eleven points is hardly a tough target, and I expect, with a new owner, and no doubt a new manager before long, a few signings in the January transfer window should sort that out.
Not sure what the record for consecutive defeats is though. |
