JK2006 And my favourite comment on this wonderful story (it made me cry)...

A little ray of light in all that darkness. I reckon this guy deserves the Nobel prize for peace right now. Obama could have waited a year.
Reinhard Adolf, Yokohama, Japan
JK2006 Such a good point Cat; and look what we find in darkest India; dozens of kids who will grow up admiring and emulating a terrific teenager - male - who has avoided the perils of political correctness and paedo scares and is the perfect male role model.

Despite the poverty and lack of any decent facilities, what do you bet there are more future good people going to emerge from Murshidabad than from most inner London areas?

The Cat In the UK he'd be told he was too young and made to have a CRB check before having all his details added to a database for future scrutiny.

I hope he gets the help, support and encouragement in his own county which he would be denied here.
david wonderful story indeed, headmaster of his own school at 16.
JK2006 Who teaches younger kids after he leaves school.

If you want to send anonymous donations to a deserving charity, that's the one.
Uplifting, wonderful story.

Well done BBC.
