veritas worst UK government ever !

people knock the election cycle in Oz but I've decided having a GE every 3 years is far preferable. 5 years is just to loooong.
JC Not much new there. Citizens being encouraged to spy on fellow citizens has been going on here in the UK since Blair's first year in office.
In The Know An anti-terrorism scheme aimed at preventing people from being lured into extremism has been branded a cover for "spying" on innocent citizens.

But in a highly critical report based on interviews with teachers and community workers, the Institute of Race Relations said the scheme "spies" on innocent young Muslims.

It says the project is trying to turn community, religious and voluntary groups into information or intelligence providers.
