JK2006 Oh yes; when I complained to the PCC that the News of the World had photo shopped a picture of me in a deck chair by the Serpentine to appear that it was beside a path full of children so I could "ogle" boys and the PCC found in the paper's favour, the Chairman of the PCC was Les Hinton, head of News International.

It has always been a farce and more and more people are becoming aware.

Like the judicial system.
david oh bloody hell, what a joke!

I didn't realise that, but it makes a farce of the whole institution.

Isn't it high time there was an independent body to deal with such matters?
BR Some people are getting excited by the 22,000 complaints to the PCC by the public about the Jan Moir column.

I suggest they all look at who is head of the Code Committee at the PCC before they get too excited !!!

Always made me laugh when I worked in Government - complaints always ended up on the desk of the person being complained about who usually dictated the letter of reply.......

Complaining is our right - but the process is rigged in favour of the person being complained about.
