JK2006 His analysis of the BBC 30 years ago - the "men in suits" then (like Bill Cotton) wore clown outfits and tutus under the suits and came onto the studio floor to discuss script lines.

That sums up how the world has changed.

In those days we music executives were involved in every note (ask 10cc).

And I think even lawyers and judges and people like John Mortimer really cared.

These days, nobody cares anymore.
