Angel I think thats a blinkered opinion. You'd be better to have common sense than a degree to be a copper.
BR news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/london/8335331.stm

We pay £100,000 a year for some of our lowest paid police.

They have NO QUALIFICATIONS.

Most of them are BRAIN DEAD as this story shows.

How can this continue ? Why do successive Governments not have an entry qualification of at least 3 A LEVELS for Police ? The money they are paid means they should at least be educated to A Level standard and higher officers should be to degree standard.

This is why our POLICE are blundering idiots who never solve any crimes. They are basically the most stupid people in society. Many of them are also easily led into crime.

They should be working in shops or doing manual jobs - not trying to protect the public in an age of TV and technology.

We moan about our justice system correctly. But when the front line is made out of some of the lowest IQs in society - is it any wonder why it fails.

I am sure many teachers and others who graduate would be interested in a Police Force and helping people if it was populated by an educated workforce.
