Denise A friend of mine who was raised in East Germany suggested another sinister long term possibility - that we are being conditioned to accept numerous allegations without questioning them. It is a proven way for government to discredit their opponents. Undesirables can be labelled as enemies of the people and shut away for years with only a suggestion of a wrongdoing to support the action.

This week marks the anniversary of the fall of the Berlin wall. My friend says she rejoiced on that day, but now she sees the rise of a new Soviet block engulfing the whole of Europe. She has lived it and knows the signs. What surprises her most is that it is all being done in the open but is mainly unopposed. The lessons of history cannot be clearer, but people are not learning from them at all. It all just happens over again.
BR I remember someone predicting this on here when we had that spate of "female abuse" cases dominating the media. First the "young teacher" and then the "nursery worker"

Seems that the media "creates" the conditions for this sort of thing.

It is also a reminder of the POWER of a concerted MEDIA campaign to brainwash people.

This is why the NEW LABOUR project is so successful. The majority of the population have average to low IQs and even some who have not are worked so hard they give up thinking. Then the media comes along and basically GROOMS the thinking.

We are basically in the grip of a serious propaganda machine. This story proves that beyond any doubt.

X FACTOR is another example. Constant re-inforcement of something on TV means the "SHEEPLE" go out and buy the single and album - regardless of whether the act is any good.
JK2006 Media inspire claims? God forbid. Nobody could ever think some claims were invented, could they?
JC Of course it couldn't possibly be a media driven bandwagon ... claims inspired by recent high profile cases ... could it?
