JK2006 Many years ago, in the 1970s, I tried to buy the rights to make two films about vampires.
One was Interview With The Vampire by Anne Rice. The other (which I did actually buy) was The Vampire Of Mons.

I flew to Cairo where the author, Desmond Stewart, lived and purchased the rights which eventually expired as I failed to raise funding.

I just bought - through Amazon, God bless it - another copy to reread it.

Looking at True Blood/Twilight, I seem ahead of my time.
