In The Know	Has anyone EVER heard of the Yankers extraditing one of their subjects anywhere - for any reason ? One rule for all ! Stop kow-towing to the Yankers !
Locked Out	So here we go again with you having to be reminded of exactly how much you shift from posting to posting. You started with "sending poor GARY MCKINNON to a certain death in the USA" Now we get nearer the truth with "Gary Mckinnon will probably commit suicide" See why you're not taken seriously?
The Cat	From what I see of American jails ( admittedly, purely from TV documentaries) I'm amazed anyone manages to survive them. What alarms me is that the British government are not doing more to protect one of their own citizens. As a matter of policy we do not deport foreigners to countries which have the death penalty. And if this was an American citizen who we were demanding stand trial in this country you can be sure America would object very strongly to our request for extradition.
veritas	I think BR may be right. I don't fancy McKinnon's chances in a US jail in his mental condition.
BR	The medical report given to Alan Johnson says that Gary Mckinnon will probably commit suicide if he is extradited and put on trial in the USA. All news channels are carrying this story today - so if I am crazy then everyone else is as well Good to see the Lib Dems speaking out on this issue. Hopefully the other parties will as well.
