Big End I loved his records...surely one of the most haunting sounds of the 60s.
JK2006 Yes indeed Richard; Scott and I were best friends in the 60's.
When this interesting fiasco started in 2000 I got a very sweet and supportive message from him.
Many very happy and positive memories... they will be in the book!
Richard Ely I expect you frequently get asked this, JK, but I couldn't see any other reference on these boards:

do you still see anything of Mr. Engel these days?

It's well known that you were great friends in the late sixties, but Scott seemed to become more and more of a recluse during the 70s, before turning into a virtual hermit in the 80s.

Recently, though, he seems to be popping his head above the parapet with a bit more frequency. And not just because he's got new product to promote.

Any stories or memories you'd care to share?
