Al I hate Billie Piper and I hate the writing. It just gets worse and I'm one more viewer who's jumping ship. It's become the unbearable Rose Tyler Show.
JK2006 I just find him very one dimensional as an actor, almost a caricature - a dangerous aspect when portraying a clearly fictional character.
Casanova was the same.
Eccleston was brilliant, I thought. Shades of gray.
Tennant is all outrage over the top or joky joky.
Dr Who? surprised you don't like david tennant jk, his brother speaks highly of you.
Richard Ely I have to agree with you, JK. Tennant has loads of verve and enthusiasm for the role, but somehow I just can't accept him as the Doctor. Age may have something to do with it: I think it's very difficult for any actor to play an authority figure (which Doctor Who definitely is, and always has been), if they are under the age of 40. But DT's performance is far too 'zany' to appeal to me; his acting is very much on the surface, without much depth - a stark contrast to the likes of Hartnell, Troughton and Tom Baker (or even Peter Davison, come to that).

Christopher Eccleston was, imo, the best Doctor since Jon Pertwee - I'm sorry he didn't do more, though I understand entirely his reasons for leaving.
Martin K Q.I .was brilliant as usual at 10 30.
Stephen Fry`s auto (Q.I) reading , is getting better and better.
I can`t wait to see Alan Davies win one week.
