The totally bonkers idea that 17 year olds are still children and that children do not have any sexual feelings reminds me of the old tale of The Emperor's New Clothes. For a person to be left alone in this country and not be harrassed by the authorities, they must go along with the official belief that the Emperor is wearing a fine set of clothes, even though everybody knows that the Emperor is completely naked. They all know that the first person to say "but the Emperor isn't wearing any clothes" will be jumped on by the rest of the populace, even though they know he's right, but dare not admit it openly. A case of always going along with the mob, so the mob won't turn on you. It's known as being a hippocrite. |

On the one hand it is good that the fact that females sexually abuse children is no longer being ignored. The unfair demonisation of men by feminists, franchised by the majority of women, and that is damaging society and destroying boys, may be finally coming to an end.
On the other hand I'd bet my house that this story has been exaggerated and that most of these websites are simply objecting to paedohysteria. I also find it disturbing that placing a statement on an internet website that 'children are sexual beings' will lead to the Independent newspaper reporting you to the metropolitan police.
The average onset of puberty is now 10 years old in the UK. Most girls complete puberty nowadays by the age of 16. I would suggest therefore that anyone who believes that 17 year olds (now defined as children) are not sexual beings should be locked up in a home for the mentally insane.
This country is truly screwed. |
