BR Gut wrenching episode tonight for Waterloo Road. This has always been an easy watching series with a few bits of drama - but very soapish.

Tonight was gritty and very compelling. Tackling head on the reality of child abuse - in a non stereotypical way and showing the damage that an abusive parent can inflict on a child.

Not only that the other plots also were raised exceptional questions about parenting - relationships - and loyalty.

This episode is a must see on the I PLAYER if you missed it. Superb. Brilliant writing and acting.

I can see this winning alot of awards.
