BR If BROWN wins I will dance naked down Whitehall !!!!

The election is by how much he loses.

Cameron may be a damp squib but BROWN is quite frankly MR BEAN ! Everything he touches goes wrong. He is unlucky and sad to say most of the country ( even Labour supporters ) want to get rid of the Champagne Socialists.

BROWN and MANDY all come from highly elite upbringings - but without the ability to understand how to bring people of all classes together. They see everything in the terms of us and them. Hence they prescribe to the WOrking Classes and middle classes all the time - the NANNY STATE being their great creation.

Cameron has some good ideas - some crap. This War Cabinet is crap - though it is hard to judge it until it happens.

The BIG BROTHER state is the biggest threat to all of us - that is why we have to vote for Cameron or Liberal and end the New Labour Soviet Dream.
Francis D It was interesting to hear one of Bush's old commanders referring, in an interview this morning, to inmates at Gitmo as prisoners of war. He said that as such they should not be considered for release by Obama while the war is still ongoing. I recall that, until Obama decided to close the prison camp, such people were refusing acknowledge the inmates as prisoners of war so that they would not be bound by the Geneva Convention. Now it seems that they are willing to grant them such status, possibly in name only, in order to prevent the camp from being closed.
Francis D I think that, whichever political party wins the election, the country will lose. More than likely, Cameron will win said election, and I think the LIb Dems and SNP may benefit from several Labour losses. Even members of the Labour party are admitting as much.

Blair carried the Labour Party with his personal charm which distracted many from his lies. Brown has no such appeal.

As for the war cabinet. I think it's unnecessary when we are not officially at war. The current situation is akin to a larger scale Northern Ireland. We have a Ministry of Defence, and it is their job to handle these matters. A war cabinet sounds impressive and decisive, but it would be surplus to requirement.
Andy H Hung parliament election, followed by an unbearably neutral coalition government , and Labour will win after a re-election for me.
JK2006 I'm glad you said that Veritas. I think Brown will win.
