In The Know The UN now wants an inquiry into the Uzbeck government's systematic use of torture and rape ... several years after former British ambassador Craig Murray (now sacked for saying something the Yankers didn't want to hear !) highlighted the problems.

The Yanks turnede as blind-eye as the Uzbecks let them build an airbase ythere which was very convenient for spying on Moscow as well as bombing Iraq and Afghanistan.
