Reg Rooney is having a very good domestic season - and a reasonable one in Europe.

But, after a sad World Cup 2006 (where he was sent off for stamping and was just another mediocre player), it remains to be seen what he can do on the world stage in 2010.

Certainly not a 'genius' - just (maybe!) the best of an indifferent lot...

Francis D He did score four, but against a very poor defence. There is no doubt that he can score on his good days, but these are becoming fewer. What Rooney lacks is consistency.

On his top league form he still failed to score for England in a three year period.
JK2006 and today he scores 4 goals. King Of Hits - the talisman for the future!
