BR BAFTA winner of course - not seen it but the trailer looks gritty and good ( amazon )
robbiex Brilliant film about a 15 year old girl living in a south London tower block. She becomes attached to her mum's boyfriend, resulting in a sexual encounter.

It's the first time in years that a film has represented the British white working classes in a realistic manner and how a young girl can become attached to an older man. It shows the stark reality of growing up in Britain today, if your'e part of the british under-class.
A great performance by Katie Jarvis as the teenager, this film wipes the floor with hollywood when it comes to thought-provoking films.
