Foz Most of his films after the 50's were roles that no other actor would dare take on. A true artist of his field. I don't think he minded the relative obscurity those roles bought with them. I will look out for that on Film4 - occasionally they show a few gems....
veritas A superb film and Bogarde was so good. A great actor in some roles. Strange reserved man in real life though.
JK2006 Just shown again on Film 4 - I so admire Dirk Bogarde for daring to accept the role.

And now we are all experiencing paedos and rapists filling the position vacated by gays.

Oh - and children, judging by the Venables reaction.

This species is really showing its nasty side this century but it's a mere echo of past bigotry.
