Topic History of: South African musicians plan protest at World Cup concert snub

giles2008 Only three SA acts on the bill. SA has a rich musical culture and some superb artistes and to fill the bill for the pre World Cup concert with US singers and bands is an insult. There are even acts from Mali and Benin, neither of whom are even in the finals. So much for the World Cup being a showcase for African talent.
