It doesn't have to go, the producers have to change their ideal and concept of the programme, l mean come on, changing houses or gardens, or Top Of the Pops??

KC The Radio One DJs used to be celebrities. They were once household names, unlike today. I used to tune in as much to see the likes of DLT, Fluff and Jimmy Saville, as to see the bands. TOTP effectively died when Radio One was reshaped as 'just another radio station'. It could have survived with the right handling, maybe, but it's been hanging on by it's finger tips for a long time. No suprise that's it's finally fallen into oblivion.
robbiex I have to say how sad it is that the great british institution of TOTP is coming to an end in 6 weeks. Several generations have grown-up with this show and it is a part of growing up for many young people. I think it deserves another chance, get back to basics and play the hits of the day, presented by Radio 1 djs, not celebrities. Live performances, put it back on a thursday night for 40 minutes and it could become the start of the weekend. God bless TOTP, even the lovely Fearne Cotton can't save it.
