Prunella Minge Just watching BBC News24 feed of Gordon on Nicky Campbell. 'Tragic,' classically speaking, isn't the right word, but it's certainly a sad and sorry sight. He's writing down callers' names like they tell you to do for phone-ins, then getting them wrong; he's doing his horrible Human Tabloid routine again, saying things like 'The whole nation was concerned about Susan Boyle' (!); he's being tied in knots by questions about tactical voting; he's making a fool of himself by dismissing gimmicky celebrity endorsements the day after Labour's risible 'Look - Jo Brand's voting labour!' PPB; and he's digging an even deeper hole for himself over immigration. It's tired, obviously, but it's also a painfully amateurish performance. And he seems to think academia will be a 'more decent' environment for him - you're in for a big surprise, Dr Broon!
