In The Know As it's his only - very very slim - hope of remaining as PM, I would have thought he would have been polite and grovelled a bit !

It shows he is more "flawed" than we realised !
david News is coming out of a phone call yesterday between Clegg and Brown.

According to 'sources' in the Lib Dems, Brown launched into a 'rant' and a 'diatribe', using threatening language.

Apparently Clegg came off the phone saying Labour and Lib Dems have common ground but he could not work with Gordon Brown.

Labour are denying the conversation but the BBC's John Sopel described his source as 'reliable'.

hmmm

Gordon, stop digging- the hole is big enough already.
