In The Know	The cuts start in Spain - news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/10109275.stm where the budget deficit is 11% of GDP (FYI the UK's budget deficit is 12% GDP !)
In The Know	... and EVERY SINGLE TIME that a cut is needed, or a tax rise imposed, the parties should make it very clear that this is all because of the legacy that Brown (and Labour) left behind. Last time the Tories handed over to Labour the deficit was £6 billion. Labour are handing over £163 billion debts for this year alone !!!!!
BR	1. Time to FREEZE Public Sector Pay for at least 2 years including MPs. 2. Protect spending in NHS and SCHOOLS only 3. Take TROOPS OUT OF AFGANISTAN by end of year and SAVE BILLIONS 4. Stop ALL recruitment to the POLICE and use PCSOs as resource to top up the force. Cut paperwork which will mean the POLICE can be cut by 10,000 Police Officers and PCSOs and Civilian Staff 5. CUT ID CARDS completely and DNA DATABASE refine in line with ECHR saving BILLIONS 6. Tackle BENEFIT fraud and IMMIGRATION benefit fraud saving BILLIONS 7. Get rid of NON JOBS through natural wastage. Slim down the Public Sector by around 50,000 jobs over the next 2 years. The ALTERNATIVE is debt leading to the GREECE situation and massive inflation and bank collapses. We cant risk this as a country. Anyone who tries to blame the TORIES - LIBS needs to be told that the person that ran up this debt was the BIG SPENDER HIMSELF - GORDON "Try to buy an election" BROWN. He is to blame for the mess - he created it. The HARD LEFT WING will try and blame the other parties but anyone with sense will know that we cant keep spending when the bank account has been drained. Time for the PUBLIC SECTOR to tighten its belt. The rest of us have suffered badly during this Economic Depression - why should the PUBLIC SECTOR continue to be awash with our TAX money........ A new SUNNY DAY starts the repair process.
