I believe that Brown was the shortest {in terms of period in office not height} serving Labour PM in history. So he has made history. Though not the sort he'd have liked. |

Callaghan needed help from the Liberals for a while though didn't he, and when that finally went tits up, he was forced into an election?
Interestingly, the BBC stats suggest that if the current constituencies were used then, Maggie would only have made it by four votes. |

Haha I tweeted this earlier today during morning study.
Kids should respect older people not be scared of them. We can learn from their experiences and should not be afraid to talk to them.

See, I just learned something from older people, although I guess I could have googled it. My excuse is that I was supposed to be studying. |

Well pointed out Pru and Dixie - I was going to do the same but had an E-M to reply to and VOILA - you'd both done it for me.

I think he is the only British Prime Minister to have never won a general election. That's quite an achievement.
You only need to go back to James Callaghan to know he hasn't made history. He never won an election either. I think there were loads. Alex Douglas Home in the 1960s too. (though I'm too busy to check that one out, so I may be wrong). |
