The media - as in the report I quoted - are not making any comments at all ... they are merely reporting the facts.
The report says the officer was arrested on Dec 18th - thats SIX months ago ! Presumably there has been an investigation (supervised by the IPCC) during that time?
The CPS only proceed with cases where there is a REALISTIC chance of conviction.
Although a Jury will eventually have to decide, in the absence of any evidence to the contrary I think there is a case to answer, don't you? |
