JK2006 USA were a far better team, just missing that star player - Rooney at his best, Ronaldo, Torres, Messi...

With that up front, they played great as a team and I thought deserved to win.

Still I'm glad an African team is through though my heart (only because I haven't been further south) is with North Africa.
giles2008 Boateng might score an occasional goal but hes bloody useless at penalties as his performance for Portsmouth in the FA Cup final proved!!
JK2006 and credit where due - 100 minutes in - America might not make the last eight but they have played far better than the UK so far in this World Cup.
JK2006 but I want America to win (they won't).
