Media not yet caught up with this......but the markets are heading down by 3% and have gone under the 10K on both sides of the atlantic.

Housing Prices are down
Unemployment is up
Pound down gainst dollar
Industrial output is down
and
GDP figures have been delayed ( so they are probably down and they want to revise them up )

Not looking good for a recovery.

Barclays Bank seem to be on the rocks - taking a hammering today. So they could go under ? and need a bail out ( yet more borrowing and VAT to 25%
