BR Like I said in my post - I am very impressed with this approach. Finally someone who is not in the Victorian age. If Howard and Straw had their way they would still be burning people at the stake if they did not agree with them.......
JK2006 Now something sensible may be done; billions wasted jailing men and women which does society and inmates no good at all.
"Prison works" indeed. Someone should stick Michael Howard inside for a few years.

Clarke was an intelligent Home Secretary and will be an excellent Prisons Boss.
