The QUEEN appealed for peace at the UN yesterday.....timing could be important because perhaps she sees ahead a problem.

Only time will tell.

It actually greatly amuses me to be accused of bitterness by someone who only a couple of weeks ago was on here describing any woman who chooses to have an abortion as a "murdering whore" and a "slut". I know that human life is valuable - and not a throw-away commodity (which is what society is trying to make us believe) and accept as though it is "normal".

I was likening a woman (of which there are many) who finds a child an "inconvenience" to dispose of as she wishes .... and as if to highlight my point along comes a BBC2 programme (Thursday and Friday at 9pm) called "Dive" in which a girl (who gets preggers) is "encouraged" to abort it by her mother so she can "get on with her life" (with absolutely no regard for the life she is discarding).

Agreed entirely ... my point was that someone who does commit a crime is likely to do so again, whereas an innocent person would probably not.

Generalisations, I know, but I think there is a strong possibility that it is true ?

Locked Out It actually greatly amuses me to be accused of bitterness by someone who only a couple of weeks ago was on here describing any woman who chooses to have an abortion as a "murdering whore" and a "slut". The misogyny conferred by the choice of those two words is telling and I'd advise any reader here to wonder if the sort of person who'd use terms like that to describe a huge number of women {of whom ITK knows nothing} in such generic and abusive terms isn't someone who has a close and very personal relationship with their own bitterness.

You don't have to say anything on my behalf, JK. I now propose to do what I said I'd do a little while ago {and I was a silly sod for rising to the bait this time} and treat anything ITK has to say with the blind eye his {or her} opinions truly deserve.

ITK's sophistry can speak very loudly for itself, and does so with great clarity. For my part I'd rather not listen to any more of it.
