JK2006 I'm with Robbie; generally I've really enjoyed it; only let down by Silly Saturday.
robbiex I think that it has been quite a good world cup. Not up to the standard of 70, 74, or 78, but probably the best since 98.

Germany have scored 4, 3 times. Portugal got 7 against North Korea, and Messi and Villa have been outstanding. There were exciting incidents in the game between Spain and Paraguay, although the standard of football was pretty poor. Most of the second rounds and quarter finals were settled in penalty shoot-outs in recent world cups, thankfully this wasn't the case this time (only 1 so far).
BR Ghana the high point.....not alot else.

Germany the best team - by a mile and if they dont win it I would be suprised.

Worst World Cup for a long long time in terms of exciting football. Has been very dull and lifeless from most teams. Star players have been reluctant to entertain......

Perhaps the Semi Finals will be better....
AdamG I'm hoping Holland win the world cup. You're right, it has been rubbish.
JK2006 Pointless, missed opportunities, sloppiness, poor refereeing... so I shall be rooting for Germany and Holland in the semis (though David Villa has been the sole star so far).
