veritas I wish I could have dozed off..I have a family of Spaniards living next door.
JK2006 I actually dozed off for 20 minutes during the final - didn't miss a thing.
Unlike the ref - our faithful English Howard - who missed the most extraordinary red card foul by, I think, a Dutch guy who clearly aimed his foot at another player's face.
All in all though - a very good tournament which has inspired me to go and visit South Africa soon - I still think the Germans were the best and most entertaining team; Villa and Robben the best players; Torres the greatest disappointment followed by Rooney.

OK Football thread over; back to normal.
JK2006 but generally a pretty entertaining tournament.
