veritas very much doubt Sutcliffe would ever get out but always wondered how much Hindley's reputation was a creation of the media.

The Judges "play to the gallery" - it is all "Theatre".
JK2006 Don't think for a second Peter Sutcliffe's refused parole is anything to do with reports or serious examination - I have no idea whether he's barking mad and extremely dangerous but I know for certain why judges have found against him - just like Myra Hindley and others, they are totally influenced by the publicity.

If he'd murdered dozens of vicars without making too many column inches, he'd have been out years ago, quietly slaughtering priests.
