JK2006 Moffatt (and wife... for some reason I assumed he was gay) on BBC News - I gather the third episode got over 7 million viewers (a lot these days for BBC1 though we got 9 million regularly on BBC2 with Entertainment USA in the 80s).

I still say this was a good series which got better and better.
Plissken They blew it in the last fifteen munites.

Was Graham Norton really the only person they could find to play Moriarty?

And why have a cliff-hanger after only three eipisodes?
JK2006 Unlike many others including AAGill I've enjoyed this series and loved this last one - Moriarty is brilliant.
I think both Benedict Thingy and Martin What'sHisName are superb.
Very clever updating without in any way damaging the original.
Bet it gets bigger and bigger ratings.
