robbiex I also loved this film, its so heart warming and thought provoking, without been obviously sentimental. Its only been about a year since it was last on the bbc, but I was glad to see it again as I missed the start first time round.

I imagine this film only had a limited cinema outing when released as the masses like mind numbing films based on comic books or 70s remakes.
JK2006 Watched this 2007 film on BBC1 last night and thought it was excellent and Sigourney's performance superb. Why do so many movies totally escape our attention on release?
