The Pope was here in 2009 and there is no truth in the rumour that he was here to get directions from me.
St Mary McKillop was a pedo hysteria nun who apparently cured 2 women of cancer but unfortunately not thousands of others.

Seriously, though, now that an entire congregation of one CofE church in Britain has switched back to Catholicism, the Church of England is starting to looked completely doomed !
It may have taken centuries, but the nonsense of basing a church on the whims of a syphillitic King, and then letting "Archbishops" - largely appointed by PMs for political, rather than religious reasons - who seem to determine church policy by the latest opinion poll, run it, was never going to work, was it ? |
