veritas mmm.. I'd reserve my judgement on this one.

I know we slag of coppers despite the majority doing the right thing ( but if the ones at the top are dills it will affect the whole force) but I find it hard to believe they wouldn't actually be helping in this case.

Presumably a person stabbed could be in a certain amount of distress and struggle.
SJB Hmmm. Very unpleasant. I particularly dislike how the police quotes try to excuse or wriggle out of what is quite clearly going on there. CCTV doesn't tell the whole story here, apparently - but when it works in their favour it's a priceless and infallible weapon in the crimefighting arsenal. Hmmm.

One can't help but wonder how many other incidents resulting in convictions for the member of the public actually occured in similar fashion to this one, but without the accompanying CCTV footage to catch out the real criminals.
