veritas	this is of course Kings Cross in Sydney , not London. not so different though...riddled with hundreds of drunken British backpackers at night

BR	I was also stopped and detained at Kings Cross in 2006 on my way to a meeting at a well known record company. There seems to be a pattern emerging...... I do not look like a terrorist and all I got was a pink slip which gave no reason for my stop.... The Police are still out of control.

I'm much better at talking my way out of these things but the police training is so bad these days. love the quote from the Superintendent : "Supt Crandell said it had become tougher to do police work in Kings Cross because of phone cameras and increased CC-TV surveillance." everyone can see when they put the boot in !
