JK2006	Two movies I shall get DVDs on - I'm an Amazaddict and I'm proud of it!
veritas	ahhh..someone else has made the discovery as well ! Anton Corbijn directed Control, the film about Joy Division. If you haven't seen it you must. It won many Cannes awards in 2007.
Prunella Minge	I must admit I'd missed Anton's recent activities, but, as I'm sure many on here will recall, he was a heck of a photographer for the NME and other music publications in the past, and, in recent years, had moved on into music videos. Well, tonight I watched the movie he directed called 'The American' - a slow-paced, thoughtful drama, set in Italy, starring George Clooney. Anyway, I was very impressed with the movie and the direction (and sumptuous cinematography), and am a bit surprised the production didn't make a bigger splash (or did I just miss it??). Well done Anton, I'll be following your work in future!
