Mary is generally accepted to be around 13 years old and a Virgin by Theologians.
There was no speeding law in Biblical times for donkeys or the yet to be invented car. So your argument that a law that applies now does not matter because it did not apply 2,000 years ago is not really credible as an argument.
In November 2010 the law states it is illegal to have sex under the age of 16 because you cant consent to it. The ISLE OF WIGHT has announced that it is giving away POST SEX contraception to 13 year olds if they so desire it. That in anyone's book is an open encouragement to 1. break the law and 2. to have under age sex and 3. in the eyes of the media encourage paedophilia ( which they define as sex with someone under 18 years old for tabloid purposes ) |

How old was Mary when Jesus was born ? 14 or 15.
You cannot arbitrarily force nature or socially engineer human behaviour.
There is a world of difference between the authorities dishing out the pill (reaction)
and encouraging underage sex (proaction). |

This is not hysterical.
It is a fact that they are legalising UNDER AGE SEX by saying that girls as young as 13 can get the PILL without any questions.
It is a charter for PAEDOS who will flock to the ISLE OF WIGHT where youngsters will become like some THAI brothel ( there that is more like a tabloid approach )

The Isle of Wight is expecting a massive influx of raincoat wearing tourists next year as the new policy will lead to more safe sex with 13 year olds taking place on the Isle of Wight which is to be re-branded "Lolita Island" in the tourist publicity.
Church leaders who protest have been silenced by those who believe it is the right of every person to express themselves sexually. The local "Rights" group has labelled the Christians reactionary and stuck in the 19th Century. The Police are looking at arresting the local Vicar for "Paedophobia" which is a crime which is only recognised as being carried out by Christians alongside "Homophobia" which is another crime which the Police describe as a Christian crime.
The policy is expected to spread in the UK in 2011 leading to safe sex with 13 year olds becoming the norm. When questioned about the age of consent by some concerned parents, the local authority said that this was only a guideline and the Police had the power to enforce this when they believed that others had stolen their under age girlfriends and needed to even the score. BR you're at it again. You are blowing this story right out of proportion as are all the Christians who are
up in arms against it. You cannot blame the government for stepping in (practically) to deal with problems
caused by the church. If the church hadn't stigmatised sex for all these years then it would not be such a honeypot
for kids. The govt has no choice but to dish out contraception to prevent pregnancies and disease. The govt is NOT
meant to be the moral beacon of society. That is the job of the church who have failed miserably because instead
of preaching Christ they are meddling in politics and other affairs they should not be. Have you not forgotten

ALL of these initiatives have failed ... and the result is an explosion of STDs in the young / damaged lives / and the medical evidence for cervical cancer being prevalent in girls who start to have sex at a young age is overwhelming.

well what happened up to about 140 years ago when kids were at from the age of puberty ?
It's the same old story...sex is dangerous because it's something people can do solo or with another that cannot be controlled by regulation and no government wants that.
hence a 15 yr old having sex is a child but a 15 yr old stealing a car is an adult ! |
