I love Miranda, and this second season is even better than the first so far. I first became aware of Miranda Hart when she's played the role of an acupuncturist in Lee Mack's Not Going Out. She re-appeared as the cleaner, Barbara, in seasons 2 and 3. Another wonderful, but under-rated comedy. (I believe season 4 of Not Going Out is soon to be televised, but alas, Miranda will not appear!). |

I have a sneaky feeling (after yesterday's Guardian spread) that Miranda is becoming a huge hit - as someone who loved it from Episode One, I'm delighted. She makes me smile, often laugh out loud and I actually think she's very attractive in her awareness of her own disadvantages. |

A terrific programme that (bizarrely) is unlike anything else on at the moment. Virtually all other comedies are trying so hard to be "edgy" (whatever that means), they're forgetting to be funny, whereas "Miranda" is an unashamedly family-friendly sitcom that does its job wonderfully. It'll run and run if the BBC lets it... |

Hard work at time because it is situational....but she is good and the overall episodes are clever and actually funny.
Worth sticking with - but unlikely to be mass audience comedy. She is very good and has created a good character.
The best part this week was when she had three blokes after her - one in the bathroom - one in the bedroom - and her intended boyfriend turn up ! plus her Mother and Sister who was intending to marry the guy in the bathroom !! Excellent !! Great "situation" |
