JK2006 And an excellent Times editorial praising the Lib Dems; so far I'm delighted I voted for them.
JK2006 Despite the media desperately wanting a good story - rebels against some people having to pay more money to deal with the deficit - Cable made great sense and totally justified the Coalition position.

Let's face it, the main (and perfectly valid) argument against any taxes is "Not me please".

And we all have the perfect answer - vote for someone else.

We'll all vote for the party which campaigns on the slogan "we'll tax nobody and never go back on our pledges".

Doh.

The dimness of our species constantly astonishes me. Only the media, assuming everyone is completely brain dead, gets it right every time.

Now let's send everyone to jail.
