Thats right, veritas - but WHY over-rule readers this time?

Previous "winners" have included Hitler and Stalin !!!!

They didn't get "over-ruled" by the editors ... if that is who got most votes, then they got the "award".

Politically inexpedient for the Yankers to be hounding the "Man of the Year" perhaps ?

Of course-a vote can be rigged ! ( as Karzai would know)
In The Know Despite being the readers No 1 choice for Man of the Year, he has been "passed over".

A Time poll showed readers favoured naming WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange this year but the magazine's editors and correspondents chose Zuckerberg.

The conservative Tea Party political movement was Time's second choice, followed by Assange, Afghan President Hamid Karzai and the 33 trapped Chilean miners.
